Finally saw Superman tonight after much delay, and I officially regret not seeing it ASAP. It was great.

Turning off auto-renew for a domain name you’ve realized you don’t need is surprisingly liberating. I just did it for two.

(Both were redundant, anyway — a .net version of a .com and a .com version of a .net — and both simply acted as unadvertised redirects, so I was wasting $39 I could use elsewhere.)

Just watched an episode of Nova about the reconstruction of New York’s LaGuardia Airport – or, rather, the replacement of much of the existing airport with brand-new terminals. It’s quite fascinating.

Going Micro

This isn’t my first attempt at starting a blog, and it won’t be my last. All my previous efforts have inevitably seen me distracted by worrying about site design, maintaining software, and finding myself frustrated by a lot of bells and whistles that I didn’t need and didn’t want to deal with.

The difference this time is that I’m using micro.blog (specifically, its most inexpensive tier, micro.one); not having to worry about maintenance (it’s hosted) or template files, and having a simple, easy-to-use interface should, I hope, make it easier for me to focus on writing.

So I guess I should introduce myself…
